Labels

Standard

Labels are a necessity in organizing things.

Labels on food help us to understand how to prepare the item, how long the food is good for,  and help us to avoud allerg

ic reactions by listing

the ingredients.

Labels on clothes help us to know whether they will fit us. They  provide us with detailed cleaning instructions.

Labels on files and folders can help us to organize information so that it more efficient.

Labels on things can be very helpful.  But labels on people are useless.

Labeling people reduces them to a preconceived stereotype. Often these stereotypes are wrong.

Labeling people is easy. Taking time to get to know them is hard work.  But it is worth it.
